Vehicle Story
What is a Workhorse?
When car enthusiasts begin a restoration project, it is never complete. Upgrades, adjustments and modifications come with the territory. That’s the vision behind the Workhorse Mustang; a machine that constantly evolves. A homemade piece of art, merging historical craftsmanship with state-of-the-art technology. It’s not only built to race, but built to test as well, ensuring the highest-quality products are being built not only for the Workhorse Mustang, but for your car as well.
About the Workhorse Mustang?
Recovered in Ojai, California, the 1966 Mustang was immediately stripped of everything that could be removed, leaving the body as the only original piece to remain. The Wilwood team made key modifications to match today’s driving demands. More than two years and countless man-hours later, the Workhorse Mustang was ready for the race track.
