BluePrint Engines, the leader in performance crate engines, is proud to announce the first phase of their new line up of GM LS compatible high-strength iron block performance crate engines in 376 and 427 cubic inch displacements. This first round of product launches includes our long block and also our complete engine with OE style GM Plastic manifold, with and without ECU controller. With the naturally aspirated 376ci option producing 530hp and the 427ci option producing 605hp. Each engine is dyno tested and comes with a 30-month, 50,000-mile factory warranty and will be available September/October, 2024.
The BluePrint high strength cast iron block has higher horsepower capabilities compared to aluminum options already on the market. Below are additional features of these new crate engines.
- Extended 5.75” cylinder skirt for added piston stability at BDC.
- Maximum stroke of 4.25”
- Maximum bore 4.185”
- Priority main oiling for optimum performance for protection
- Thicker deck faces, making surfaces more rigid and ideal for forced induction applications.
- Improved water jacket design for improved cooling
- LS3-style front and rear covers
- Also available with six head bolts per cylinder allowing better sealing capabilities, especially useful in forced induction and high horsepower applications.
- Provisions for external oil pump/dry sump
- BluePrint aluminum LS3-style cylinder heads.
- Hypereutectic pistons on 376 ci applications
- Forged pistons on 427ci applications
- Hydraulic roller camshaft for a broad power curve and rich idle
- 6-bolt main to increase strength and durability
