Vehicle Story
The Car: 1956 Oldsmobile 88 with a GM 385 Fast Burn crate engine and 700 R4 transmission.
The Project: Jim and his wife owned one when they were first married. Jim is ready for a Pro-Touring upgrade. We installed a first generation Camaro front subframe with our DSE Coilover Conversion Kit, Upper Control Arms, and all the rest of our steering and suspension components. We also installed Baer brakes, Budnik wheels, a Ford 9" rear axle, and a Vintage Air Gen II Super A/C system. This car has stock body lines with a killer Pro-Touring stance! The Owner: Jim and his wife put many miles on the car. He has driven on several power tours, taken it to Florida many times, and participated in the rod and customs Ego Rama. |
