This 1957 Corvette had seen better days, but thanks to the crew at Steve’s Auto Restorations it now has an exciting new lease on life.  A ’53 windshield was used to give the ’57 a more streamlined appearance, thus the doors were then capped with a custom fabricated trim piece making this a true roadster.  An entire new front clip was installed with a one-off hood incorporating a stinger style scoop, the only visual hint of the supercharged Cadillac LSA V8 lurking below.  The whole package rides on a round tube chassis using C4 and C5 suspension.  Custom one-off wheels connect everything to the pavement.  Now bathed in a pearlized version of Panama Yellow, this ’57 can enjoy being America’s favorite sports car once again.
