This 1988 3rd Gen was brought to us a few years after an "I know a guy that will do it cheaper" did some suspect repairs and painting. We had to build custom patch work to eliminate the rust, epoxy sealed with Sikkens, Two rounds of evercoat high build, one round of Sikkens Auto Surface 2k primer, then sikkens base and HS + Clear. After the stripes went on we buried them under 3 coats of clear and cut it flat starting with 800 grit. The customer took this one home to finish the mechanical and interior with his Dad whom originally helped him get the car.
