Vehicle Story
Custom hot rod. Former tow truck. Started collecting parts when I was in high school. Chassis custom made by Jim Zahn in New Ulm, MN. The rest of the build was done primarily on weekends by my father (Todd), myself, and my brother (Luke). Randy Gribble at Lake City Rod and Custom in Watertown, SD wrapped up the final fab work. 4” chop and 3” channel. Suicide front suspension with 40 Ford components and Lincoln front drum brakes. Z’d frame with 9” Ford (posi). 16” 35 Ford wire wheels wrapped in Firestone tires. 283 ci SBC backed by TH 350 trans and Gennie shifter. 32 Ford chopped commercial truck grille shell and walker radiator. Last Refuge Hot Rod box and tailgate with custom oak bed floor. PPG custom grey/beige (Ford Industrial line) paint.
